Biography
Dr.Zaoming Wang is a research associate professor in the College of Polymer Science and Engineering at Sichuan University. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Sichuan University in 2015 and 2018, respectively, under the supervision of Professor Xiangyang Liu. In 2022, he obtained his PhD degree from the Graduate School of Engineering at Kyoto University, Japan, under the supervision of Professor Shuhei Furukawa. Following his PhD, he continued his postdoctoral research in the Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Science (WPI-iCeMS) at Kyoto University from 2022 to 2025, also under the guidance of Professor Shuhei Furukawa. In March 2025, Dr. Zaoming joined the research group of Professor ChengGu at the College of Polymer Science and Engineering, Sichuan University.
Research Interests
His research focuses on the design, synthesis, and application of porous soft materials, including porous gels, films and liquids, based on the use of microporous absorbents as the starting materials.
