Cai Xufu, born in 1964, is a professor of materials science and a doctoral supervisor in Sichuan University. He has been engaged in the teaching and research work of synthesis and modification of polymer materials for long-term. As the project leader, he has undertaken more than 40 projects including National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), major scientific research projects in Sichuan Province, applied basic research projects in Sichuan Province, and enterprise cooperation projects. His main research achievements include four scientific research results that have passed the provincial and ministerial level appraisal. He has published over 100 SCI papers in international journals, co-authored 9 monographs, and obtained 8 authorized invention patents. As a supervisor, he has trained more than 40 master's and doctoral students.
