Professor Lei Yi, male, born in December 1964, doctor of engineering, professor, master tutor, party member, CPC. Graduated from Beijing Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 1985, majoring in nonmetallic materials (including composite materials). In 1988, he obtained a master's degree in engineering of nonmetallic materials (including composite materials) from Beijing Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. In 1995, he received a doctorate in engineering from Chengdu University of Science and Technology, majoring in polymer materials.

The main research directions are: high performance composite materials and functional polymer materials. He has successively undertaken 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation as the main research institute; One national key scientific and technological project in the seventh five-year plan, the eighth five-year plan and the ninth five-year plan; There are 8 key projects of the Ministry of Education, national key laboratory projects and horizontal projects of enterprises. Published more than 30 academic papers, including 8 in SCI.
