Biography

Dr. Wei YANG is now Dean and Professor of Polymer Materials and Engineering at Sichuan University (People’s Republic of China). He studied polymer processing at Sichuan University where he earned his doctoral degree and was promoted to be associate professor and full professor in 2006 and 2011, respectively. His current research efforts are focused on processing-structure-performance relationship of polymer composites, especially advanced functional polymer composites. He has published over 300 research papers and book chapters and is coinventor of over 60 filed patents.

Polymer blends and Polymer Composites: Rheology; Processing technologies; Interface design and control; Structure-properties relationship; Morphology evolution and controlling of polymer blends during extrusion, injection molding; Structural characterization.
