Biography

Hongwei Bai received his B. Eng. (2006) and M. Eng. (2009) from Southwest Jiaotong University, and Ph.D. (2012) from Sichuan University, China. After a Postdoc at Sichuan University for two years, he took a position at the College of Polymer Science and Engineering (Sichuan University) as an associate professor. Since 2019, he has become a professor at the College of Polymer Science and Engineering, Sichuan University. Until now, more than 70 papers have been published in mainstream journals of polymer science and engineering, such as Macromolecules and Polymer. At present, these papers have been cited more than 3,000 times and the H-index is about 40. He has been selected by Stanford University and Elsevier as one of the World's Top 2% Scientists.
