On June 11, an Elsevier delegation—Dr. Peter Harrison, Senior Vice President; Dr. Judy Bai, Publishing Director; and Dr. Yu Xia, Senior Publisher, visitedour collegeand the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Polymer Materials.They were welcomed by Prof. Guangxian Li, Executive Director of the Strategic Advisory Committee of the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Polymer Materials,former Executive Vice President of Sichuan University, along with Prof. Wei Yang, Dean of the College of Polymer Science and Engineering. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Yiwen Li, Vice Dean of the College of Polymer Science and Engineering.

During the meeting, they held in-depth discussions on the development of academic journals in advanced polymer materials, the publication of high-quality research outcomes, and models for international academic collaboration.

The visit has further cemented the college's ties with a world-leading academic publishing platform, fostered mutual understanding, and laid a solid groundwork for deeper collaboration, talent cultivation, and enhanced global academic influence.
