吴锦荣:四川大学教授、博士生导师,先进高分子材料全国重点实验室(四川大学)固定人员,国家自然科学基金委青年科学基金项目(A类)[原国家杰青]获得者,四川省杰出青年科技人才。毕业于四川大学高分子科学与工程学院,分别于2003年和2008年获学士和博士学位(导师黄光速教授)。2007.8-2008.9在Texas Tech University作访问学生(导师Gregory B McKenna),2014.1-2016.1在Harvard University作访问学者(合作导师David A Weitz)。2009年留校任教,2014年晋升副教授,2018年晋升教授。
主要研究方向为弹性体材料的高性能化、功能化及相关理论问题。主持了6项国家自然科学基金项目,多项国家级、省部级及横向项目,与中国石化、华为等大企业长期合作。以第一作者和通讯作者在Advanced Materials, PNAS, Angewandte Chemie, Macromolecules, CCS Chemistry等SCI收录国际期刊上发表论文120余篇。相关工作被《新闻联播》、《新闻直播间》、Science,Washington Post,Fox News, Material Today,Science Daily,Phys.org,European Rubber Journal,美国ABC News电视节目,中国科学院,新华网等多个媒体专题报道。授权中国发明专利30余项,美国发明专利1项。获得“冯新德高分子奖”最佳文章奖,华为优秀技术合作项目奖,高分子科学基础研究奖创新论文奖,中国石油和化工教育教学优秀成果特等奖,四川大学“未来教学名师奖”、“中国橡胶科技创新奖”等荣誉。是Science、Nature等杂志的审稿人,《Science China Materials》的青年编委,《橡胶工业》和《合成橡胶工业》的编委。

Jinrong Wu, recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, is presently a Professor in the National Key Laboratory of Advanced Polymer Materials at Sichuan University, where he commenced his academic career in 2009. He completed his B.S. (2003) and Ph.D. (2008) in the College of Polymer Science and Engineering at Sichuan University. During his academic journey, he visited at Texas Tech University (2007 to 2008) and Harvard University (2014 to 2016) as a visiting scholar.
His main research focuses on the high performance and functionalization of elastomeric materials, as well as related theoretical issues. He has led six NSFC projects, along with numerous national, provincial, and industry-sponsored projects. He maintains long-term collaborations with major enterprises such as Sinopec and Huawei.
As the first author or corresponding author, he has published over 120 papers in SCI-indexed international journals, including Advanced Materials, PNAS, Angewandte Chemie, Macromolecules, and CCS Chemistry. His work has been featured in special reports by media outlets such as CCTV News Broadcast, Science, The Washington Post, Fox News, Materials Today, Science Daily, Phys.org, European Rubber Journal, ABC News (USA), the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Xinhua Net.
He holds more than 30 authorized Chinese invention patents and one U.S. invention patent. His awards include the “Feng Xinde Polymer Award”for Best Paper, the Huawei Outstanding Technical Collaboration Project Award, the Innovative Paper Award in Polymer Science Basic Research, the Special Prize for Outstanding Achievements in Petrochemical Education and Teaching, the Sichuan University "Future Teaching Master Award," and the China Rubber Science and Technology Innovation Award.
He serves as a reviewer for journals such as Science and Nature, a Youth Editorial Board Member of Science China Materials, and an editorial board member of China Rubber Industry and China Synthetic Rubber Industry.
