Aiming at promoting the strategy of international personnel training, Polymer Science and Engineering College in Sichuan University has held UIP-”International Communication Program” at July 9^th-20^th, 2018. We invited 5 foreign teachers to take 5 international courses for undergraduate students, while we also invited 3 international students (Raj from India, Bradley and Joseph from the USA) from North Dakota State University to take participate in “International Week Program”.

During UIP program, these 3 international students finished their study at 5 different courses, then got their certification of Sichuan University Summer Immersion Program successfully. They also went to Professional Experiment Engineering Center at Polymer Science and Engineering College to have experiment classes. Besides, they took part in Culture Exchange Activity with undergraduate students in PSE College at July 20^th, at which they introduced their special culture stories. At weekends, they went to museums such as University History Museum in Sichuan University, Sichuan University Museum and Chengdu Jinsha Site Museum, as well as famous scenic spot in Chengdu such as Jinli Street, Chunxi Road and Kuanzhai Alley.

In conclusion, this event has been successfully held. Three international students learned a great deal, while they knew the rapid development of China modern civilization. In the end, they had a deep understanding of Chengdu and Sichuan University. It was also a precious experience for undergraduate students in PSE College to have face-to-face communications with foreign teachers and students, which can lay a good foundation for their further study to move towards a broad academic world.
